What the hell is tonality…?

Its nothing really.. its a stolen word from music to describe the gradation of color (or gray tone b/w) where analog film have an advantage over digital camera. Analog film has continuous gradation, while digital camera has tiny-winy pixel for one certain color, hence it doesn’t have as continuous gradation as analog film.

The analog film snob will almost always use this word to explain why they #believeinfilm. Matter of fact we will not see the difference unless we print the the picture, big enough to cover entire Java Island… 🙂
